Oklahoma City is 440 miles north up the I-35 spine through North Texas and the Red River. We load Houston in the morning, take I-45 north to Dallas, then transition to I-35 north through Denton, Ardmore, and Norman, and roll into OKC by evening. Seven hours of wheel time across the Texas plains corridor.

Tinker AFB and military families
OKC is a military hub with Tinker AFB on the east side and Will Rogers Air National Guard on the west. We run PCS and ETS moves into base housing on the regular — DD-1299 paperwork, base-gate windows, weight-ticket protocol. Same intake desk Amanda runs for Lackland.

Tornado-season scheduling
The Texas plains and central Oklahoma sit in Tornado Alley from March through June. We watch NOAA tracking the same way we watch June-November hurricanes in Houston — if a high-risk severe-weather window opens, we reschedule the haul without a second deposit. Sealed-pad shrink and A/C transit run year-round.
