Hurricane season is the real test

From June through November, Sarah holds a hurricane-cone tracking calendar against the NOAA five-day projection. If a storm sharpens within 72 hours of your move date, we either run your move early at no rescheduling fee or hold the load in our in-house Spring Branch storage until the cone clears. Either way, the original signed figure holds.

Pricing the emergency

Same-day local: $179/hr standard rate, no surcharge if a chief has an open window. Sub-24-hour weekend callouts run a 15% premium on hourly. Hurricane-evacuation moves and Med Center start-date shifts run the standard rate — we don’t price-gouge emergencies. Deposit $215 credits to the invoice.

When same-day isn’t physically possible

Not included in the last-minute flat

After-midnight emergency loads (12am to 4am), Saturday-morning gun-safe rigging without a scout call, and multi-leg hurricane-evacuation pulls (Galveston to Houston to Dallas) require separate quoting.
